Generate sales leads from customers in defined area & grow Order Intake
Active in opportunity management in order to meet yearly budget
Increase market share of portfolio
Generate reports and forecast for order-intake in defined area with active use and discipline in maintaining CRM
Overall customer satisfaction 
Update and follow up feedback from customers in defined area
Active use of available sales tools
Build up and develop the relationship with customers in defined area, including ship owners, ship brokers, ship designers, OEM, ship management companies, shipyards ,Identify and develop relationships with potential & existing customers.
Actively engage other (global) functions and team members to capture opportunities. 
Ensure a smooth transfer of contracted opportunities into orders
Ensure quality of contracts and in line with Wartsila policies.
Customer communication and support for running projects in cooperation with Sales Supporting Team
Identify, report and manage potential risks detected in the assigned projects.
Business intelligence and knowledge for the Area
To grow new build, Spare Parts sales, upgrades & retrofits for all Wartsila Shaft Line Solutions products
Support all product factories to capture monthly OI forecast

 

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, report and assume accountability for sales and sold margin budget among assigned customer accounts.
- Maintain and further develop present assigned customer relationships.
- Identify and develop relationships with potential customers.
- Create Account plans for major customers, execute the plan and update changes throughout the year.
- Develop and maintain Customer Satisfaction.
- Collect and communicate market intelligence and competitor information.
- Propose customer specific sales target based on market outlook, identified opportunities and strategy.
- Create, maintain and manage all customer visit reports and opportunities in CRM.
- Maintain accurate customer records among assigned customer accounts.
- Cooperate and coordinate sales activities for global or cross country operating customers with responsible colleagues.
- Ensure that customer inquiries, orders and complaints are responded to in a prompt and satisfactory manner.
