We are currently looking for a
Strategic Purchaser, Purchasing, Shaft Line Solutions Japan

About the position:
- Performs purchasing and/or material planning activities in defined area of responsibility in order to secure material availability.

 

Main Responsibilities:
Purchasing - Timely PR operation, UP date, SAP Maintenance SAPでPO発行。ベンダー(日本・中国など)に発注 英語使用・(中国語できれば尚良)
Delivery control - Achieve requirement delivery, negotiate the delivery date with supplier 納期管理
Control inventory amount, Daily bases controlling inventory amount, Inventory Turns days controlling, scrapping 在庫管理
Vendor quality management, Improve vendor NC availability ベンダー評価 品質管理(QHMチームとの連携) ベンダー工場へ出張もあり(年4~5回程度)
Vendor control - Price negotiation, Contract, cost down, VSM 
Contact person of global sourcing 購買額や品質などのレポーティング&FB
Develop team member

 

- Investigate on future demands with various internal and external resources.
- Create purchasing requisitions based on demands and existing stocks or execute purchase orders, order monitoring, confirmations and rescheduling.
- Review and verify technical specifications and requirements as basis for material planning or request for quotations in cooperation with engineering organisations.
- Create and issue forecasts to suppliers when applicable.
- Monitor and report supplier performance (i.e. delivery reliability, cost development, lead time).
- Plan and manage inventory levels when applicable.
- Proactively work to enable cross-divisional, cross-organisational and supplier cooperation.
- Maintain supply data to relevant systems in defined area of responsibility.
- May negotiate, create and maintain supply contracts with suppliers and/or improve supply performance and supplier relationships in defined area of responsibility.
- May coach and develop other colleagues in daily work.


Requirements(Mandatory): 
Japanese - Native
English- Business Level

Requirements (Preferred):
SAP experience


Experience of negotiation with supplier
Purchasing, Delivery control, Vendor control, quality control, Inventory management
Oversea travel
Team Building

Follow Wartsila cord of contract & Japanese law, and proceed the clean purchasing.
Become conscious of the serious mission for company cost,   to plan the maximum cost reduction for business development without being satisfied with the present conditions
