We are now looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Contract Delivery team in Najran. The successful applicant will be accountable of understanding and follow the annual Operating Plan.


Head Office Location: Jeddah – Saudi Arabia.

Vacancy Work Nature: Physical – Full Time – In Remote Area.

What will you be doing:

  • Understand and follow the Annual Operating Plan (Refer Engine /Equipment operating hours)
  • Follow & comply with Customer load demand.
  • Analysis and troubleshooting of plant issues, keeping superior informed.
  • Understand & Follow the Engine & Aux units maintenance plan. (Refer Engine /Equipment operating hours)
  • Identify the spares requirement & availability of spares as per maintenance plan.
  • Perform the Risk Assessment prior to start the work.
  • Ensure the electrical system isolation prior to start the work LOTO.
  • Observe & ensure each employee using the PPE.
  • Review the work progress at the end of the day & ensure the progress is as per plan & report as per site procedure.
  • Read Technical bulletin & equipment catalogue to enhance the knowledge.
  • Perform the Fire Mock Drill with team members.
  • Arrange training on safety flash.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping standards.


You will shine in this role when you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or master’s in electrical engineering or similar equivalent educational background.
  • Minimum 5 -10 years work experience in the field of Diesel generation power plant equipment’s (Operation & Maintenance)
  • An Advance level of English language. An additional Language is a plus to have.
  • Previous experience on Wartsila equipment’s and engines is highly recommended.
  • We are seeking for an expert professional with strong problem solving and decision-making skill.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, overtime & remote areas.
  • Perform all activities needed to reach the objectives of the position and comply with the orders, instructions, values, and company policies applicable as employee and/or the position.
  • Continuously seek for solutions keeping a customer focus mindset.
  • Understanding of Wärtsilä business, quality, and workplace safety is a plus.
