Mechanical Technician

Main responsibilities:

 

1. Know and follow the Annual Operating Plan. ( Refer Engine/Equipment operating hours )
2. Understand spares planning / availability of spares as per maintenance plan
3. Perform the Risk Assessment prior to start the work
4. Check the maintenance tools, ensure the measuring tools are calibrated
5. Observe & ensure each employee using the PPE
6. Review the work progress at the end of the day & ensure the progress is as per plan
7. Perform the maintenance activities on engines & auxiliaries as assigned by O&M Manager
8. Apply trouble shooting skills to solve O&M problems
9. Read Technical bulletin & equipment catalogue, to enhance the knowledge
10. Periodically check & ensure healthiness of fire pump house
11. Perform other tasks as assigned by O&M Manager from time to time

 

Requirements:

 

Education: Diploma or Bachelor in Mechanical.
Experience: Minimum 5 years on HFO Engines preferably Wartsila.
