Digital Data Support Specialist

We are looking to recruit a Digital Data Support Specialist as soon as possible for our Transas business unit in Wärtsila Voyage Solutions.

 

What are your main tasks and responsibilities?

 

Order Support

  • Tailored Chart selection
  • Flat fee verification against fair usage policy
  • Price calculation
  • Order optimisation
  • Order processing

 

License Management

  • License synchronisation between external and internal distribution systems
  • License infromation update
  • Handling of user accounts

 

Customer Support

  • Attend to customers request (through calls, emails, IDS)
  • Problem analytics
  • Second level troubleshooting of Digital Data products on company hardware
  • Second level troubleshooting of Digital Data products on third Party hardware (Standalone PC, SAM Ecdis, JRC Ecdis, FURUNO Ecdis etc.)
  • Collaboration with third level internal and external customer support organization for problem resolution (escalation)
  • Website navigation
  • Newsletter preparation
  • Onbarding, outrolling of initial licenses software tools, guides and contacts

 

Internal

  • Creation and verification of knowledgebase articles
  • Creation and verification of customer guides
  • Analysis, draft, improvement and description of business processes
  • Create documentation in support of new products / agreements
  • Attending internal and external product trainings and webinars
  • Providing internal product trainings and webinars
  • Supervising digital data support executives
  • Supprting Sales department in quotations and questions
  • Handling of user accounts

 

What do we expect from you?

 

  • Preferably you hold a Masters or Bachelors degree in a related discipline
  • First experience in handling digital data, work experience in customer support services will be beneficial
  • Excellent Communication skills - good command in English (oral and written)
  • Customer focus - you put the customer first
  • you are result-oriented and a team worker
  • you have at least basic skills of Microsoft Office package
