Mechanical Technician

The main responsibilities are as follows:

 

· Inspect completed work to check that repairs have been done correctly and that machinery and

  equipment conform to specification and safety standard.

· Perform emergency procedures in order to protect personnel and equipment in case of damage or

  failure of safety deficiencies with zero re-work

· Utilize all tools in such a manner to maximize their useful operating life.

· Maintaining the plant in a clean and safe condition always.

· Account for all parts and materials and supplies used in the performance of work.

· Perform other jobs that your supervisor may require you to do.

· Responsible for maintaining the machines and auxiliary equipment in good working conditions.

· Be able to read and create graphs of abnormalities and tendencies of the equipment and

  components of the engines.

· Prioritize and assign tasks so that resources are used effectively and that work schedules and

  targets are met.
