Wärtsilä Biogas Solution - All human activity creates waste. This waste can also be a valuable resource: Excess agricultural products, manure, wastewater sludge, household and restaurant waste are perfect raw materials for biogas production. Raw biogas can be upgraded to pure biomethane, which can be compressed or liquified and used as a low carbon vehicle fuel (bioCNG or bioLNG) or injected into the natural gas grid providing renewable energy to both homes and businesses.

Wärtsilä Biogas Solutions product portfolio consists today of biogas technologies, ranging from raw biogas upgrading to biomethane for grid injection and compression, to liquefaction into bioLNG as well as the fueling infrastructure. The product portfolio is managed and optimized with annual revisions, versions and new options that is influenced by new market areas, differences in local legislations, feedstock specifications and product quality requirements.
