We are now looking for a
CDC Quality Process Expert
to join our team working for a better future.
The preferred location for the position is in Kampen, The Netherlands.
What you will be doing
- Ensure procedures are in place for all CDC Quality/Warehousing-related processes, enabling a smooth transition between processes.
- Manage stakeholders effectively, ensuring alignment and communication with all required parties.
- Transfer knowledge to involved team members and stakeholders as required.
- Produce and provide documentation, including instructions and training materials.
As CDC Quality Process Expert your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Define new processes and standards based on organizational strategy or set short- to mid-term operational plans.
- Visualize processes, write instructions, and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
- Participate in S4 Hana warehousing project developments, ensuring all requirements are addressed during the build phase.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on current CDC warehousing processes, process improvements, or the development of new processes. Key stakeholders include:
- CDC Quality: QI, Classification, PDNC, Returns, Inventory Management, Tuning, VCS
- DHL Warehousing
- GD
- Actively participate in and contribute to S4 Hana project meetings.
- Provide instructions, training, coaching, and support to stakeholders as needed.
- Implement and test new elements/updates in systems and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes to ensure smooth operations.
- Focus on cross-stakeholder processes to guarantee improvements benefit all parties involved.
- Identify potential improvements, develop solutions, and ensure their implementation.
- Collaborate with key users to implement solutions and avoid redundant work.
- Participate in forums, workshops, and meetings to maintain up-to-date knowledge.
- Communicate timely and professionally about the impact of changes and solutions on processes and systems.
- Handle administrative tasks such as documentation and required reporting.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- BSc or MSc in Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Expert in Warehouse and Inventory Management systems, SAP (EWM, ECC, and S/4 Hana), and Transportation Management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational excellence mindset, with project management and change management experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and teamwork skills in multicultural, international settings.
- Proficient in English and Dutch, both written and verbal; familiar with Incoterms, export documentation, customs procedures, and dangerous goods handling.
- Technical knowledge of Wärtsilä’s product portfolio, WGLS organization, and safety protocols.
