We are now looking for
Import/Export Specialist
to join our team and the preferred location for this position is Kampen or Drunen, NL.
What will you be doing
As Import/Export Specialist you will act as operational support and backup of Key User and report to the Manager Customs Compliance.
Your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Provide support on operational customs import export (control) inquiries and tasks.
- Continuous review of customs regulatory changes that may have an impact on inbound/outbound shipping activities. Implementation of change in an expedient manner, to avoid interruption of workflow, penalties and/or fines, or loss of import/export privileges.
- Participate in process improvements activities & projects to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in AEO/Internal Controls & Self-Auditing.
- Assists in Procedures, Guidelines, Working Instructions.
- Assist in Trainings & E-Learnings
The below will enable you to shine in this role:
- Detailed knowledge and experience about the European Customs Code and Export Control regulation are a must.
- Experience in applications, SAP, Customs software, Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical skills, Process oriented, Stress resistant.
- Ability to work transactional, conceptual and in matrix structure.
- Hands-on approach, Pro-active.
- Ability to think and communicate at conceptual level.
- Multi-tasking, Precise.
- Communication and English/Dutch language skills are essential.
