FS Coordinator

We are looking for a Service Coordinator, a local point of contact with customers and internal stakeholders in the delivery of Field Services (FS) & Workshops (WS) for Marine Power. Service Coordinator is part of a team managing the daily activities and schedules of MP Parts & Field Services team located in Taiwan. In this position Service Coordinator will be reporting to the FS Operations Manager. This position will be located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

 

About the Position:
Service Coordinator

Your role will include the following accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the successful coordination relating to FS&WS jobs.
  • Attend in offer reviews, ensure proper handover from Sales Proposal team.
  • Close cooperation with Resource Managers assigning engineers to jobs.
  • Act as contact person for the customer during the work order, interact with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Liaising with customers to coordinate detailed schedules, parts, tools, authorizations and permits, and to formalize service bookings.
  • Take responsibility for briefing and debriefing of the engineers before and after the jobs.
  • Lead and coordinate Field Service activities, including work scopes, personnel, tools, spare parts, schedule, costs, etc.
  • Issue Tech Requests when applicable.
  • Implement service follow-up, ensuring customer satisfaction and obtaining feedback, maintaining service record files and KPI's.
  • Identify and implement improvements through cost efficient means.
  • Review revenue/cost before invoicing, maintain KPI of the jobs on hand.
  • Continuously stay up to date with company policies and guidelines.

 

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Safety-first mind-set.
  • Technical background related to Marine Engineering especially 4S Engines with FS experience is desirable.
  • Good communication skills and customer understanding.
  • Good organizational skills and customer empathy, combined with a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Proven teamwork skills and the ability to adjust and re-plan in dynamic situations.
  • Good cost awareness & effectiveness.
  • Strong ability to delegate, follow directions and work under pressure.
  • Good MS tools skills.
  • Fluent in Mandarin & English.
  • College degree or above.
