Engine Room Operator

What will you be doing:

Your work will focus on these main responsibilities:

    • Monitor all parameters of engine and auxiliaries during operation.
    • Assist shift engineer for operation and maintenance.
    • Utilize tools, equipment, accessories in such a manner to maximize useful operating life
    • Report to shift engineer in case of any abnormality.
    • Take active part in trouble shooting and maintenance jobs during shift.
    • Attend all engine room activities.
    • Carry out maintenance tasks during shift as per requirement of Shift Engineer.
    • Responsible to fill operation logs of main and auxiliary equipment.
    • Be able to identify/react on alarms and trip parameters of the temperature and pressure of the systems
    • Follow all safety regulations
    • Carry out any other job assigned to him from time to time

 

Location-Karachi

 

You will shine in this role, when you have: 

  • Education- Diploma in Mechanical
  • Minimum 2-year Experience in Mechanical role
  • Mechanical Knowledge of Wartsila Df Engines /Technology. 
  • Have hands on Experience into customer relation
  • Good level of English
