General Purpose of the role:

We are now looking for a Mechanic at 
SNPC, Nooriabad, Pakistan who will be responsible for all technical preparation and execution of service-works in Power Plants and on-board ships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Shift Engineer/Maintenance Engineer in maintenance and repair activities, material requisitions, maintenance planning, and scheduling.
  • Assist with all planned maintenance and unplanned activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements for permitting. and liaison and coordination with other departments as required.
  • Implement routine PM checks, including vibration and temperature inspections, on rotating equipment and ensure logging or recording of all readings.
  • Perform repairs on other static equipment as required, such as valves, pipe-work, pressure vessels, and tanks.
  • Take tolerance measurements with accuracy on equipment under maintenance.
  • Supervise on-site contractor work execution, including crane rigging and lifting operations, as designated.
  • Ensures equipment, materials, and tools are on hand for work execution.
  • Reports resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework, or deferred maintenance as required.

Qualification & experience requirement: DAE Mechanical with 5 years of relevant experience.

 Other desired Skills:

  • Hands-on maintenance experience of internal combustion engines.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments (Subpart of overhauling engines.
