As a Quality Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Reviewing material certification against material specifications, non-destructive examination, and material testing reports.
- Final documentation submission on Project folder as per requirements.
- Writing reports to satisfy customer contracts, to include Factory Acceptance Tests, material certification, dimensional reporting etc.
- Participating in internal / external quality issues.
- Supporting customer complaint and warranty investigations
- Internal Notification handling
- ISO 3834 requirement, Welder qualification WPS coordinate with TUV for audit, certification & IWE to carry the weld process as per ISO 3834-2 requirements.
- To provide the support quality inspector team & plan the activity as per the business priority.
- Satisfy the ISO 9001 requirements to established & sustain the QMS practices.
- Supporting continual improvement activities
- Supporting product and project delivery quality planning activities
- Ensuring that all statutory and regulatory Health & Safety requirements are implemented locally.
Education & Experience requirement:
- Graduate Engineer degree in Mechanical or equivalent
- 5 plus years of experience in Quality control & assurance of the manufacturing process.
- Having knowledge and experience in supplier audits for ISO 9001 is a must have requirement.
- Knowledge and experience in supplier audits for ISO 14001 and 45001 will be considered as added advantage.
- Having exposure & understanding of various manufacturing & NDT (Non-destructive testing) standards is a must have requirement
- Willingness to relocate to Khopoli/Navi Mumbai
