About the job

This is a job where you will be travelling all over the world to perform installations, repairs and troubleshooting activities, mainly for Propeller Shaft Stern Tube Seals on Marine Vessels but also on other equipment connected with shaft lines. You will be a part of a highly skilled and professional team representing the equipment manufacturer towards internal as well as external customers.

-You will be a frequent traveller, mainly visiting ports and shipyards, globally.
-You will focus on the health and safety aspects of your work to ensure that you and those around you have a safe and professional working environment.
-You will lead and guide designated support teams from various yards, ship’s crew, contractors and other while you are executing your work assignments.  
-You will produce high quality service reports in line with our corporate principles.
-You will contribute to a healthy, positive and supportive working climate.
-You will fully comply with valid laws and regulations as well as with our corporate policies such as our Code on Conduct.

What skills we are looking for

Required skills:
-English. Good in verbal and writing.
-Education. Major of mechanical engineering at technical college or university or equivalent experience.
-Good skills in communication.

Desired skills:
-Background in engineering and or mechanics.
-Relevant experience from the Marine Business.
-Japanese language.
-Low voltage electrician certification
