We are now looking for a Sales Manager to join our QuantiServ with sales responsibility in Central & North Europe.
The preferred location for the position is in Kruiningen (NLD).
What will you be doing
In this position, your work will focus on growing our sales presence within Central & North Europe (Caribbean Territory belong Europe) with both new and existing Customers by promoting QuantiServ portfolio (reco, resins, metal stitching, mobile teams, in situ activities). You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support from all the support functions.
As Sales Manager, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Main responsibilities RequiredLead, manage, train, grow QuantiServ sales in Central & North Europe.
- Preparation & implementation of action plans for QuantiServ sales budget.
- Proactively market & sell Wärtsilä products & services.
- Secure order intake and sales volume and profit according to agreed targets in QuantiServ
- Develop and implement attractive QuantiServ offering.
- Securing customer relationships while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain, improve & develop a portfolio of customers on basis of profitability.
- Identify & propose new products & services based upon customer requirements.
- Locate & encourage new customer accounts, also in other industries
- Update customer database while managing risk & liabilities for all customers.
- Develop and foster relations with other internal stakeholders.
- Optimize the cooperation between sales in Italy organization and QuantiServ
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- You hold a Master degree in Engineering/Sales/Marketing/International Management combined with several years of Sales experience within an organisation in the marine industry.
- Experienced within a service minded organisation and knowledge of global sales processes.
- You have a strong commercial drive and you are decisive and action orientated.
- A proven track record of successfully implemented sales processes.
- You have experience within strategic planning and target setting.
- Excellent customer understanding
- Willingness to travel
- Technical knowledge focused on specific QuantiServ Services Portfolio (Remanufacturing, In-Situ Machining) are seen as an advantage
In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
