We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor – Electrical to lead and coordinate electrical maintenance activities at our power plant in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. The role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment while maximizing plant availability, reliability, and performance.

Main Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily electrical maintenance activities to achieve operational and contractual targets.
- Ensure plant reliability and availability in line with contractual requirements.
- Manage preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Coordinate spare parts planning and follow up with the Parts Coordination Management team.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, safe work practices, and company procedures.
- Lead all electrical maintenance activities, including major overhauls and troubleshooting.
- Support plant operations during start-ups, shutdowns, and operational disturbances.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and safety documentation.
- Ensure availability of tools, spare parts, and maintenance resources.
- Apply troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques to resolve plant issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Eng. or B.Tech.).
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Gas or HFO Engine Power Plants.
- Experience with PLCs, control systems, and power plant automation is an advantage.
- Knowledge of WECS and UNIC systems and RCA methodologies is preferred.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, generators, motors, switchgear, transformers, and control systems.
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance planning.
- Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of PLCs, automation, and electrical protection systems.
- Understanding of HSE standards and permit-to-work systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in CMMS/maintenance systems and MS Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
