Main Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement standard Operations Policies and Procedures according to Wartsila Pakistan Pvt. Limited and Wartsila Finland Oy. requirements.
- Responsible for setting and maintaining the operations qualification and specific training standard needed for personnel.
- Work in conjunction with Maintenance Supervisor / Manager for ascertaining condition of equipment's, required maintenance activities and scheduled overhauls.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly operations/production reports.
- Responsible for preparing annual plant operating plan, operational capital and operating budgets in conjunction with Power Plant Manager.
- Must have a clear understanding of PPA and related clauses.
- To identify and actively seek to improve operations the operations of the plant, to improve operational reliability and availability, to maximize equipment life, and to provide detailed feedback to the Power Plant Manager..
Requirements:
- Job Location : Rawalpindi, Pakistan
- Educational Requirement: BE/BSc Mechanical degree (Mandatory registration with Pakistan Engineering Council)
- Experience : Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in similar capacity.
- Hands on experience in Operations of HFO power plant and its auxiliaries is a must.
- Experience in Maintenance Management Tools e.g. Maximo.
- Prior experience of Wartsila W46 engine is an advantage.
- Understanding of workplace safety.
