The Warehousing team are looking to welcome an enthusiastic and proactive Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team in a permanent position based in Leicester, UK.

 

 

As a Warehouse Assistant, your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

  • Checking incoming goods against delivery notes and documentation.
  • Reporting any discrepancies and damage to shipments.
  • Packing goods according to packing lists.
  • Promptly posting the receipt of goods and shipments in the system according to warehouse processes.  
  • Working alongside the Assembly Team to pick raw material and process necessary paperwork.
  • Conduct cycle counts to support stock control. 
  • Ensuring goods are available in the designated Warehouse area.
  • Arranging the movement of goods.
  • Taking an active role in stock counts and audits.
  • Keeping the Warehouse are in good order.
  • Adhering to Company health and Safety rules and necessary legislation.
  • Actively working on your own development and professional skills.
  • Ad hoc duties as reasonably required.

 

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • An analytical approach.
  • Self-motivation and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • A minimum of three years demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and use of carousels would be hgihly desirebable. 
  • Fluency in the English language, both verbal and written.
  • A forklift licence would be considered advantageous, though training can be provided for the right candidate.
  • A valid driving licence is essential to support with the collection of packaging materials on occasions.
