Product Sales Manager - Cyprus

 

 

We are looking for a Product Sales Manager with a main responsibility in to lead the frontline Sales activities for Marine Market in the R2Region - Europe and Africa. The position is based in Cyprus and the Manager is going to focus mostly on the development of that area. In this position, hybrid working (at the office and from home) is an option too. 
 

 

Your role and responsibilities 

 

For our global 2-stroke & Other OEM Service Sales Support & Development team organization we are looking for a Product Sales Manager. Your work will include the analysis of the Area of interest and the promotion of available solutions within the Area and Regional Sales organization, also dealing directly with customers. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities, and develop and win them in close collaboration with customers and the relevant internal stakeholders
    • Join newbuilding sales meetings with Marine Business, Energy Business and/or WinGD Sales and support them to win newbuild projects with the support of our lifecycle solutions offering.
    • Ensure collaboration with other Business Lines, in order to capture extended services opportunities
    • Develop good understanding of customers' business drivers and what solutions add true value to their business
    • Co-develop new and/or customized solutions together with customers and the global 2-stroke &Other OEM Service functions
    • Closely collaborate with the global 2-stroke & Other OEM Service Sales Support & Development team for growth focus areas
    • Train and coach 2-stroke & Other OEM Service sales team and sales champions
    • Occasionally act as Capture Team Leader and ensure collaboration in capture teams and involvement of relevant stakeholders at the right time

 

 

Requirements for the position 

    • Bachelor or Master Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Sales & Marketing
    • Technical background in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
    • Mastering English both verbally and in writing
    • 7-10 years of sales and/or sales support experience in Services or Marine Solutions
    • Very good understanding of Sales Pipeline management in CRM
    • Ability to analyse technical data and prepare reports
    • Excellent skills in communication and negotiation
    • Attitude towards initiative, problem solving and organization
    • Ability to establish and maintain good customer relationships on all levels (good access also on CXO levels)

 

As an ideal candidate you might also have… 

  • Existing network with marine customers
  • Preferably experience in more complex sales activities, such as service agreement or service project sales
  • Experience in leading and coaching people, preferably in Sales
