Sales Manager
We are now looking for a
Sales Manager, Marine
to join our team working for a better future.
The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Limassol, Cyprus.
What you will be doing
As Marine Sales Manager, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Sales & Business development:
Responsible for prospecting (sales funnel & forecast), achieving Sales Targets (Order Intake and building Backlog) in the Cypriot area for Marine Power Products & Solutions for After Sales & NBs.
Account Management for assigned Customer (MSC), ensuring long term customer centric relationships and retention.
Work with Colleagues in the Sub-region and the Yard countries (China, Korea) within Marine Power and other Wartsila Business Units.
- Reporting & Processes:
Strong CRM Management skillset.
Ensure Customer feedback is channelled through the responsible teams and product lines.
Ensure that sales processes are properly followed and compliance to the approval process.
- Marketing:
Provide market intelligence feedback through the assigned channels.
Represent Marine Power at Industry Exhibitions, (Partner) conferences and potentially be a speaker.
Fully support the Marketing & Communications activities
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- Proven work experience as a Marine Salesperson or similar role in the marine industry
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with market trends and product development
- Strong understanding of marine equipment and services
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to build relationships with clients and vendors
- Knowledge of sales contracts and agreements
- Participate in trade fairs representing the company
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
- A “can do” and “customer first” working atmosphere
In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 10%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
