We are looking for a motivated, dynamic and safety-oriented Senior Service Technician to join our fast-paced and exciting Field Services team.

The preferred location for this position is in Mandra (Greece).
Your role and responsibilities
As a Senior Service Technician, you will perform basic maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on equipment components, ensuring all tasks are completed according to company standards and customer requirements.
You will work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to safe, high-quality, and efficient service delivery.
As a Senior Service Technician you will focus on these responsibilities:

Conducting scheduled overhauls and repairs on equipment components.

Assisting the supervisor engineer during onboard service operations.

Performing assigned work tasks in accordance with given instructions.

Preparing for travel assignments (tools, documentation, spare parts, logistics).

Traveling globally (approximately 60% of the time) to support service interventions and customer needs.

Collecting and organizing time and expense reports after completing assignments.

Recording measurement data accurately in relevant documentation.

Preparing and submitting internal and external work reports.

Communicating effectively with administrative personnel and stakeholders.

Ensuring all work is executed in line with Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QEHS) guidelines and customer site procedures.
Requirements for the position

Technical education (vocational or equivalent).

Fluency in English.

Willingness and flexibility to travel at short notice.

Cost awareness and an understanding of efficient service delivery.
