Workshop Manager

Manager Workshop

 

We are now looking for a Workshop Manager (m/f/d) to join our team at Mandra Workshop, in Greece. The position is a permanent role. 

  

As Workshop Manager you will focus on these responsibilities: 

  

  • Responsible for planning, leading, organising and supervising the Workshop activities fulfilling QEHS requirements. 
  • Draw and support competence development of team members 
  • Support the growth of the workshop business by increasing customer contacts and revisiting rates, generating, wherever possible, leads to non-buying customers
  • Set new standards of Operational Excellence, with an eye on simplifying the Workshop execution and workflows by implementing innovative solutions where appropriate 
  • Develop the workshop layout and way of working 
  • Strengthen the workshop offering 
  • Build visibility of demand and manage capacity 
  • Manage communication across multiple stakeholders 
  • Own and drive the customer experience and measure the success 
  • Hire and develop the team implementing robust growth and development plans 
  • Ensure and caring of Customer satisfaction 
  • Grant Employees satisfaction 
  • Competence and capacity management 
  • Target setting and execution plans to achieve the targets 
  • Manage communication across multiple stakeholders and senior leaders
  • Ensure development support for other workshops in the region and within Shared Workshop Operations (SWO)

 

  

The below will enable you to shine in this role:  

  

  • Proven Leadership and communication capability / experience
  • Completed technical vocational education supported by entrepreneurial attitude
  • Additional engineering qualification as a master craftsman / technician 
  • Good knowledge and / or experience of IT tools and systems use
  • Knowledge of machining / mechanical production, open to new technologies and IoT
  • Understanding of operations / processes in workshops, looking to next steps into digital features
  • Experience in planning and supervising workshop activities 
  • Service readiness, “hands on” mentality and customer orientation 
  • Cost awareness & efficiency capability 
  • Local mother tongue and English language skills (fluent, both written and spoken)
