We are looking for a Service Engineer Propulsion with a main responsibility in delivering field service activities and advanced troubleshooting on propulsion systems.

The preferred location for this position is in Marseille (France), but nearby locations are negotiable.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Service Engineer Propulsion, your work will include performing field service interventions, troubleshoot propulsion equipment, and interact with customers during service execution. You’ll be working as part of a dynamic Field Service team with diverse expertise.

As a Service Engineer Propulsion you will focus on these responsibilities:

• Perform field service activities according to the work plan.
• Execute advanced troubleshooting on propulsion equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Wärtsilä quality, health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Interact with customers during service execution (e.g., introduction meetings, updates).
• Create service work reports and provide progress status internally and externally.

Requirements for the position

• Experience in field service or marine propulsion systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely in compliance with HSE standards.
• Good communication skills with customers and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 80% of the time).

Nous recherchons un(e) Ingénieur(e) Service Propulsion dont la responsabilité principale sera d’assurer les activités de Field service et le dépannage avancé sur les systèmes de propulsion.

Le poste est idéalement basé à Marseille (France), mais d’autres localisations à proximité peuvent être envisagées.

Vos missions et responsabilités

En tant qu’Ingénieur(e) Service Propulsion, vous serez en charge des interventions sur site, du diagnostic avancé des équipements et de la communication avec les clients pendant l’exécution des travaux. Les missions pourront être adaptées en fonction de vos compétences et intérêts. Vous rejoindrez une équipe Field Service dynamique aux expertises variées.

Vos principales responsabilités :

• Réaliser les activités de service sur site selon le plan de travail.
• Effectuer le dépannage avancé des équipements de propulsion.
• Garantir la conformité aux normes qualité, HSE et procédures client.
• Interagir avec les clients lors des interventions (réunions d’introduction, suivi).
• Rédiger les rapports d’intervention et assurer le suivi interne/externe.

Profil recherché

• Expérience en service terrain ou systèmes de propulsion marine.
• Compétences solides en diagnostic et résolution de problèmes.
• Respect des normes de sécurité (HSE).
• Bonnes compétences en communication.
• Disponibilité pour des déplacements internationaux (jusqu’à 80 % du temps).
