Service Technician (m/f/d)

We are looking for a dynamic, high performer Service Technician (m/f/d) to join our fast-paced Field Service Marine Power France resource team.

The location for the position is in Marseille, but most of your work will be performed outside, wherever our customers are. A such, you’ll be travelling all around the world for most of the time.


What will you be doing?

As a Service Technician, you work under the responsibility of a team leader to carry out preventive and curative maintenance on our customer installations.

For you to be successful in the position, we hope you have a strong technical background:


  • You hold a higher technician certificate in internal combustion engine (BTS MCI),
  • Ideally you have even a short experience in the industry, ideally a background in engine tuning/development,
  • Your good level of English allows you to ensure technical communication with our networks and in the field with our customers and other shipyards. 


As a Service Technician, your work will focus on these responsibilities:


  • Perform mechanical work on our engines (eg cleaning, lifting, moving, disassembling, reassembling and protecting components) during the overhaul process.
  • You are comfortable using our control command/fine tuning tools on engines.
  • You carry out this work as planned under the responsibility of a team leader,
  • You are responsible for applying the Quality, Safety and Environment rules during the said works, as well as for respecting our technical procedures,
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
  • Maintain a professional team appearance and conduct,
  • Ready to travel at short notice anywhere in the world (predominance Europe/Africa and French Islands).

Technicien d’intervention H/F


Au sein de l’équipe d’intervention de notre département Field Service, vous intervenez sur les installations moteurs de nos clients maritimes, dans le cadre de maintenances. Ces interventions vous amènent à vous déplacer très fréquemment (~85% du temps), partout dans le monde, avec une prédominance de voyages en Europe.


Vous êtes chargé des travaux de maintenance préventive et curative sous l’autorité du chef d’équipe. Vous disposez d’une capacité de discernement et de recherche de compromis qui vous permettent de mener à bien toutes opérations mécaniques moteur (type démontage/remontage de sous-ensembles) tout en préservant les intérêts de notre entreprise.


Vous représentez l’image de l’entreprise durant lesdits travaux et à ce titre, vous êtes le garant de l’application des règles de Qualité, Sécurité et Environnement, ainsi que le respect de nos procédures techniques.


Titulaire d'un BTS Moteurs à Combustion Interne (MCI/MTE), vous justifiez d'une expérience significative dans l'industrie (automobile, marine, transport) sur des postes relatifs aux moteurs à combustion interne (mise au point, essais, développement, recherche).


Votre sens du service vous permet de comprendre les problématiques client et d’y apporter des solutions, dans le respect des règles de notre entreprise.


Votre bon niveau d’anglais vous permet d’assurer la communication technique avec nos réseaux et sur le terrain avec nos clients et autres chantiers navals.
