We are on the lookout for a passionate and high-performing Superintendent 4-Stroke to join our energetic and fast-paced Field Service Marine France team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to travel the world, as most of your work will take place on-site at our customers' locations.
While the primary location for this role is Marseille, we are also open to considering candidates based in other locations such as Nantes or Harfleur.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Superintendent 4-Stroke, you’ll lead a team of skilled service engineers to deliver top-notch preventive and corrective maintenance for our customers' installations. You’ll be the face of our company on-site, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to our high standards of quality, safety, and technical excellence. As a Superintendent 4-Stroke, you will:
- Act as the main point of contact for customers on-site, ensuring smooth communication and operations.
- Lead and manage the execution of maintenance and repair activities, ensuring they meet customer expectations and company guidelines.
- Oversee the application of Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards during all work activities.
- Provide detailed and structured reports on completed work, including measurements, photos, and findings.
- Track progress, report on job status, and manage time and spare parts effectively.
- Represent the company professionally, ensuring your team maintains high standards of conduct and appearance.
- Be ready to travel globally on short notice, spending approximately 80% of your time on-site with customers.
Requirements for the position
- An ENSM diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, a BTS with proven hands-on experience will also be considered.
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines (4-stroke).
- Understanding automation systems.
- Leadership and communication skills to guide your team and build strong customer relationships.
- Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues worldwide.
- The ability to write clear, structured, and detailed work reports.
- Proficiency in IT tools, including the MS Office suite.
- A focus on cost awareness and efficiency.
- Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80% of your time) to customer sites worldwide.
- Ability to work abroad and on-board sailing vessels.

Nous recherchons un(e) Superintendant / Chef de Chantier Field Service pour rejoindre notre équipe.
Ce poste vous offre l’opportunité de voyager à travers le monde (environ 85% du temps, principalement en Europe) pour intervenir sur les installations de nos clients dans les secteurs maritime et des centrales électriques.
Bien que le poste soit principalement basé à Marseille, nous sommes également ouverts à des candidatures provenant d'autres localisations telles que Nantes ou Harfleur.
Votre rôle
En tant que Superintendant / Chef de Chantier, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la satisfaction de nos clients en assurant des interventions de maintenance préventive, curative et de diagnostic de pannes. Vous serez leur principal interlocuteur sur site, capable de proposer des solutions à forte valeur ajoutée dans des délais courts, tout en préservant les intérêts de notre entreprise.
Vos principales missions :
- Piloter les travaux réalisés sur les installations moteurs de nos clients.
- Garantir l’application des règles de Qualité, Sécurité et Environnement ainsi que le respect de nos procédures techniques.
- Coordonner et encadrer les équipes exécutantes (chantier naval, personnel client, etc.) lors des interventions.
- Collaborer avec un chef de projet et vous appuyer sur nos fonctions supports (Service Technique) pour résoudre les problématiques rencontrées sur le terrain.
- Rédiger des rapports d’intervention détaillés et structurés, incluant vos observations et recommandations.
Profil recherché :
- Diplôme de l'ENSM en génie mécanique ou dans un domaine connexe est préféré. Alternativement, un BTS avec une expérience pratique avérée sera également pris en considération.
- Connaissances des moteurs à combustion interne (4-temps).
- Compréhension des systèmes d'automatisation.
- Compétences en leadership et communication pour guider votre équipe et établir de solides relations avec les clients.
- Maîtrise de l'anglais pour communiquer efficacement avec les clients et collègues à l'échelle mondiale.
- Capacité à rédiger des rapports de travail clairs, structurés et détaillés.
- Maîtrise des outils informatiques, y compris la suite MS Office.
- Sens de la rentabilité et de l'efficacité.
- Volonté de voyager fréquemment (environ 80 % du temps) sur les sites des clients à travers le monde.
- Capacité à travailler à l'étranger et à bord de navires en navigation.
