HR Manager, Americas
We are looking for our next HR Manager, Americas, to lead the regional people strategy for our new Energy Storage Joint Venture, which brings together 500 professionals and operates in 10 countries worldwide.
The HR Manager, Americas, will lead the execution of regional HR initiatives, support managers and team members, foster a positive employee experience, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Position details:
- Location: Mexico City
- Work model: Hybrid, with 6 days per month in the office.
- Contract type: Permanent (indefinite-term)
- Seniority level: Management.
Key responsibilities:
Regional HR Program Execution
- Lead the implementation of annual HR programs, policies, and processes across the Americas, ensuring consistent and compliant execution.
- Support regional compensation reviews and partner with other HR teams on key people initiatives.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Manage employee relations matters, workplace concerns, and investigations, providing guidance to managers on performance, attendance, and conduct.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, collective agreements, company policies, audits, and reporting requirements.
Employee Engagement
- Lead regional engagement, recognition, communication, wellness, inclusion, and employee experience initiatives.
- Translate engagement survey results into meaningful regional action plans.
Talent & Performance Management
- Coordinate performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and development activities across the region.
- Support the implementation of job architecture, total rewards, and other talent programs in collaboration with regional and global HR stakeholders.
Talent Acquisition
- Lead regional recruitment and workforce planning activities, partnering with hiring managers throughout the selection and onboarding process.
- Promote a positive candidate experience and support employer branding initiatives.
Required qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
- Languages: Advanced English proficiency.
- Professional experience: 7+ years in HR management roles, with demonstrated experience leading HR operations in both Mexico and the United States.
Nice to have:
- Previous HR experience supporting operations in Canada and/or Chile would be considered an asset.
- Previous HR experience in energy or renewable energy companies would be considered an asset.
