We are now looking for a

 

Lifecycle Sales Support Engineer

 

to join our team working for a better future.

 

The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Mexico City, Mexico.

 

What you will be doing

 

You will be part of the Lifecycle Management team, which plays an integral role in the Operations department. You will be part of a team that develops energy storage lifecycle solutions and offerings which drive growth and profitability for our business.  You will support lifecycle sales activities by providing detailed sales calculations and proposals with a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction.  You will develop and maintain the lifecycle sales costing and proposal template materials to ensure stable margins and clear, concise offerings.

 

In this position you are reporting to the GM, Upgrades and Lifecycle Offer Management.

 

As the Lifecycle Sales Support Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Preparation of sales calculation and proposals, supporting the Opportunity Team with transactional Field Service, Spare Parts, Upgrade, and renewals or amendments of Agreement customers, or to existing non-agreement customers where applicable
  • Determination, review and escalating approval of the calculated margin and proposal risk
  • Support in presenting and explaining proposals to customer
  • Assist with internal and external promotion of solutions, and developing new solutions and support material
  • Ensure CRM data quality of Opportunities
  • Use of data and analytics to identify new Opportunities
  • Develop and maintain the Agreement, Upgrade and transactional sales costing model(s) & ensure alignment with proposal template content
  • Liaise with and support ESB Sales Management with Agreement topics

 

In this role, your success will be measured by:

  • Overall performance
  • Quality of Lifecycle Sales calculations and proposals
  • Time to respond and on time delivery to Lifecycle Sales enquiries
  • Maintenance of Lifecycle Sales calculations and proposal template 

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Relevant technical education, preferably Associate, BSc. or equivalent
  • Related energy storage O&M work experience, possessing an entrepreneurial mind set and Sales affinity
  • Fluent speaking and writing in English
  • Knowledge of regional market and awareness of cultural diversity
  • Customer focus (internal/external) and capability of building business relationships
  • Good knowledge of energy storage products and solutions
  • Strong business and results-orientation
  • High attention to detail and comprehension, while maintaining a proactive and flexible mindset
  • Experience in customer facing situations while negotiating fairly
  • Drive for performance with positive attitude
  • Excellent team player with focus on communication and follow-up
  • Encourage the exchange of ideas and collaboration across organizational boundaries
  • Distinctive systemic / analytical work style - independent and solution-oriented, with time management & efficient organizational skills to manage dynamic workload
  • Have advanced knowledge of MS Office and CRM (Salesforce) applications

 

 

(In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers and team around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 10%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.)
