PCM Coordinator Trainee
We are now looking for a
PCM Coordinator Trainee
to join our team working for a better future.
The position is temporary for 12 months and the preferred location is in Moschato, Greece.
What you will be doing
Parts Coordination Management (PCM) is part of Wartsila Global Logistics Services. Our main objectives are to provide fast and high-quality responses to our customers for spare part quotations, orders, deliveries, and claim resolutions.
We are now looking for Parts Coordination Management trainee to join our dynamic PCM team working on providing a premium service for customer spare part requirements. We play a crucial role to be the link between the customers and various Wärtsilä departments. This is a great opportunity for you with an interest in the maritime industry. The trainee period is for 12 months and the location for the position is in Moschato, Athens.
As a PCM Coordinator Trainee, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Handle and coordinate quotes and orders according to working procedures and guidelines, and local requirements
- Ensure quality of spare parts sales documents
- Actively follow-up the status of orders and quotes
- Liaise with Sales about the content and terms of the offerings
- Follow up and communicate parts deliveries information accordingly in a timely manner to customers.
- Follow up with supply chain of parts deliveries according to agreed process
- Maintain and develop knowledge of customer specific solutions and needs.
You will shine in this role, when you have:
- BSc. or MSc. degree (technical or commercial) in progress or completed (recent graduate)
- 0-3 years of work experience in customer service/logistics/spare parts order or in the field of the candidate’s studies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Fluent English language skills. Additional language skills will be considered as a plus (with an emphasis on Italian)
