Field Service Coordinator

We are now looking for a Field Service Coordinator to join our Exhaust Treatment Life Cycle Service Operation team of four working for a better future.
The preferred location for the position is in Moss, Norway, but also Vaasa, Finland, is a possible location. We offer the possibility of hybrid work.
What you will be doing
In this position, your work will include coordinating and planning single and/or standard Field Service work orders according to contract and customer requirements as well as quality, health, safety and environmental and cost targets and ensuring customer satisfaction in all activities. On a typical day, you might start with working together with sales for the handover of a field service job and end the day with coordinating our engineers and have the customer communication. The work will require a high level of independence, but you will at the same time have support from other coordinators colleagues and team leaders.
As Field Service Coordinator, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Coordinate single and/or standard Field Service work orders.
- Plan activities, resources, spare parts, costs and time schedule for the work order.
- Coordinate people when they are assigned on a work order.
- Act as a contact person for customers during the work order.
- Interact with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsila Quality,
- Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
- Follow up and report the status of the work order to the customer or relevant internal stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, it would be beneficial to have:
- Previous experience with a coordinating role
- It’s advantageous to have experience and insight in Field Service
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English
- Preferably good communication skills in written and spoken Norwegian or Finnish
