Join us in maintaining and developing our market-leading position in the Decarbonisation and Exhaust Gas Treatment, we now have an opening for Product Specialist Power & El, to be based at the Wärtsilä office in Moss, Norway.

The position will play an instrumental role in process development for our Exhaust Gas Cleaning- and Carbon capture & storage (CCS) technology.

Wärtsilä Moss AS is a global leader in the development, design, manufacturing, and lifecycle services for Exhaust Gas Treatment solutions and CCS. Shipowners and operators are empowered with a solution that enables them to tackle environmental challenges both now and in the future.
 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Standardization of Power & El. solutions – hardware.
• Standardization of Power & El. documentation and templates.
• Purchase support – Power & El.
• Sales support – Power & El.
• Service support – Power & El
• Product maintenance and component approval
• Establish, maintain and follow way-of- working
• Resolution owner for non-conformities related to Power & El system design.
• Reports to management 
• Internal and external information and training

Development responsibilities:

• Find, test, and approve new Power & El solutions - hardware and software.
• Improve Power & El solutions based on feedback from service and project organization.
• Establish needed documentation for management decisions.

Qualifications:

• Higher technical education (e.g. Bachelor or Master degree) in electrical engineering
• Experience from maritime (Ship/FPSO), Oil & Gas and/or process industry engineering (Desired)
• Experience with ATEX (Ex) equipment (Desired)
• Experience with EPLAN and Fusion as design tools                                                                            
• Experience from testing and product verification
• Good English and Norwegian language skills, both verbally and in writing
