Electrical Technician

In order to continue to help us to achieve our mission in our South and East Africa region, Field Services activities are typically performed for customers under contractual agreement at their sites or specific workshop or yards. Therefore, we are looking for an Electrical Technician to join our Field Service team in Mozambique.


Your work tasks and responsibilities will include:


  • Perform and complete the work tasks in accordance with the instructions.
  • Perform basic scheduled overhauls and repairs on equipment components.
  • Record the measurement data on the relevant document.
  • Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsila quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.


As an ideal candidate, you will have following qualifications:

 A. Education:

  •  B.Sc. degree in Electrical engineering/Technical certificate or Equivalent.

 B. Experience:

  • Several years of relevant working experience on Wärtsilä engines or similar 4-stroke with special focus on Electrical & Automation (E&A).
