Wärtsilä Danmark A/S, located in Nørresundby, is looking for a Propulsion Service Engineer.


As a Service Engineer your main responsibilities will be but are not limited to:


  • Provide field service mechanical advisory and commissioning
  • Give technical advice to Customers and Wärtsilä network
  • Prepare travelling: collection of information, tools, spares, book tickets
  • Participate in negotiations with customers
  • Report and inform the administrative personnel as required
  • Provide internal and external reports
  • Collect and organize time and expense reports after completion of the works
  • Actively participate in digitalization programs
  • Participate in office work
  • Perform internal and external training (coach Customers and Wärtsilä personnel about products under AMS 4-Stroke
  • responsibility


To be successful in this role we expect you to have:


  • Mechanical background
  • Technical diploma or B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering
  • Min. 3 years experience
  • Available to travel for 70% of the year and with flexibility
  • Problem solving
  • Multicultural approach
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
