System Integration Engineer

 Integration Engineer – Naval Propulsion



Vessel propulsion systems, from prime mover to propeller



Perform the integration engineering of propulsion systems.



  • Analyse the customer/shipyard technical specification.
  • Perform the technical studies leading to the system feasibility.
  • Perform or require and check the mechanical calculations (static and dynamic).
  • Perform physical integration studies (CAD model).
  • Define physical interfaces between the equipment and with the vessel.
  • Elaborate the equipment technical specifications.
  • Monitor the equipment suppliers (internal and external) during engineering phase.
  • Check the equipment description, interfaces and documentation.
  • Manage the technical configuration of the system.
  • Perform a continuous technological watch.

BSc or MSc in Engineering, Mechanical



Preferably 1 to 3 years of experience in a shipyard or in a company working for the shipping industry propulsion. Alternatively, a motivated junior professional might also be considered.
