We are looking for a Shipyard Site engineer for our team in Saint Nazaire
The site engineer is responsible for executing the operative activities related to commissioning according to the commissioning plan in close co-operation and under supervision of the Site manager. Our projects consist mainly of main engine, propulsion systems, environmental gas after treatment and gas integrated solution.
The site engineer is one of the main figures in the practical execution of all the activities foreseen for the completion of a commissioning by actively collaborating with the counterparts of the construction site.
What you will be doing :
- Execution of the assigned tasks related to the Commissioning responsibility matrix included Sea Trials
- Planning, practical execution and solution activities through the coordination of the internal organization of all non-conformities that may be found during commissioning
- Accompanying the acceptance of the commissioning of Wartsila machinery
- Diligent for the activity reporting and technical reporting
Who you are :
- Technical background (BSc/MSc in Engineering or equivalent field experience in marine sector)
- 2-5 years' experience of work in marine new built sector and proven communication skills
- Strong team working skills
- French language at good level
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- Practical experience from yard or Marine installations, especially engines and systems, technical knowledge of propulsion and power production systems onboard marine and/or offshore installations will be considered as an add merit
Nous recherchons un ingénieur Mécanique sur site pour notre équipe sur le chantier naval de Saint-Nazaire.
L'ingénieur de site est responsable de l'exécution des activités opérationnelles liées à la mise en service selon le plan de mise en service, en étroite coopération et sous la supervision du responsable de site. Nos projets concernent principalement les moteurs principaux, systèmes de propulsion, traitement des gaz environnementaux et solutions intégrées de gaz.
L'ingénieur de site est l'un des postes clés dans l'exécution pratique de toutes les activités prévues pour la mise en service en collaborant activement avec les homologues du chantier de construction.
Ce que vous ferez :
- Exécution des tâches assignées liées à la mise en service de nos moteurs dans les navires, y compris les essais en mer.
- Planification, et gestion de toutes les non-conformités qui peuvent être rencontrées lors de la mise en service.
- Accompagnement de la mise en service des moteurs Wartsila.
- Mise en place et maintien du reporting d'activité et du reporting technique.
Qui vous êtes :
- Formation technique (BSc/MSc en ingénierie ou expérience équivalente dans le secteur maritime).
- 2 à 5 ans d'expérience de travail dans le secteur de la construction navale et compétences en communication prouvées.
- Solides compétences en travail d'équipe.
- Niveau de français bon.
- Maîtrise de l'anglais parlé et écrit.
- Expérience pratique dans un chantier naval ou des installations maritimes, en particulier des moteurs et des systèmes, des connaissances techniques sur les systèmes de propulsion et de production d'énergie à bord d'installations maritimes et/ou offshore seront considérées comme un atout.
