We are now looking for a Maintenance engineer- Mechanical to join our team in APGCL (Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited) Mybella, Assam- India
What will you be doing?
- The maintenance Engineer coordinate and performs all type of day-to-day maintenance activities which includes scheduled, unscheduled, breakdown, and troubleshooting activities to ensure the plant is operated efficiently & meet our contractual commitments.
- Maintain MIS such as maintenance logs and records of all covered equipment & safety documents
- Ensure compliance with safety & environmental protection standards.
- Ensure the financial performance of the contract.
- Ensure that the performance targets of the plant are reached according to the contract in its own responsible area.
- Provide coaching and training to sub-Sub ordinates and new employees.
- Give operation advice and cooperate with the operation team for the safe operation of the plant.
Requirements:
- Diploma /BE- Mechanical with minimum 5 years of experience.
- Gas / HFO-based powerplant experience
- Experience in operating engine auxiliary
- Teamwork & Team Building skills
- Knowledge of Local Legislation & Labor laws
- Problem solving & decision-making skills
- Quality, health, safety & environmental awareness
- Reporting & analyzing skills
- MS Office
