We are now looking for a Maintenance engineer- Mechanical to join our team in APGCL (Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited) Mybella, Assam- India

What will you be doing?

• The maintenance Engineer coordinate and performs all type of day-to-day maintenance activities which includes scheduled, unscheduled, breakdown, and troubleshooting activities to ensure the plant is operated efficiently & meet our contractual commitments.
• Maintain MIS such as maintenance logs and records of all covered equipment & safety documents
• Ensure compliance with safety & environmental protection standards.
• Ensure the financial performance of the contract.
• Ensure that the performance targets of the plant are reached according to the contract in its own responsible area.
• Provide coaching and training to sub-Sub ordinates and new employees.
• Give operation advice and cooperate with the operation team for the safe operation of the plant.

Requirements:

• Diploma /BE- Mechanical with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Gas / HFO-based powerplant experience
• Experience in operating engine auxiliary
• Teamwork & Team Building skills
• Knowledge of Local Legislation & Labor laws
• Problem solving & decision-making skills
• Quality, health, safety & environmental awareness
• Reporting & analyzing skills
• MS Office
