R&D Engineering- CAD Tools Lead

Location- Navi Mumbai, Hybrid or remote 

Qualification

• Engineering Degree, Mechanical / IT or similar.
• 8+ Years of work experience in similar area, with international and multicultural environment.
• Team coordination with externals in CAD Tools.

Responsibility of CAD Tools in Engineering Tools team.

• Managing deliveries from external in the stream.
• Discuss and gather requirements from designers , understanding the knowhow of wartsila way of working for NX CAD area. Siemens NX tool expert. is also required. 
• Creating PO for requests.
• Maintain all the NX tools owned by business.
• Identifying all the bottlenecks and performance issues in CAD area and getting them resolved.
• Creating & coordinating Enhancement Requests to IM PELM team.
• Establish Common way of working in NX designing & Tools in general. (e.g. Casting, Tooling etc. )

Technical Skills

• NX and checkmate, JAVA, C++, C#.
• Complete knowhow of the CAD Tools like NX and other CAD tools. NX Checkmate knowhow.
• Solidedge and AutoCAD knowhow is good to have.
• Basics of designing for testing the CAD data.
