Service Engineer, 4-Stroke Engines (Marine)


Job Purpose

Provides technical engineering support and executes field service activities, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.


Key Accountabilities

  • Performs technical tasks and troubleshooting in the field, contributing to the functionality of equipment and diagnosing and resolving technical issues in collaboration with the service team and customers.
  • Provides technical support and guidance to customers, enhancing their experience and ensuring the reliability of products in operation.
  • Collaborates across multiple customers, external stakeholders and cross-functional teams to coordinate on-site activities and share expertise, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery and contributing to service delivery excellence.
  • Participates in the continuous development of field service processes and methods by providing feedback on service processes and equipment performance, aiming for increased efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintains accurate records and reports of field service activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements. Adheres to safety and quality standards.

Travel & Mobility.

  • Willingness to travel extensively worldwide (up to 80%).
  • Ability to mobilize at short notice to support customer requirements.
  • Ability to work onboard vessels, at ports, and in shipyards globally.

Ideal Candidate 

A marine professional with strong hands-on experience on medium-speed 4-stroke engines, capable of independently leading global service assignments, supporting customers, mentoring colleagues, and delivering technical excellence in a dynamic field service environment.
