We are looking for a Mechanical Plant Technician in Ndola Zambia.
Job Purpose: To Perform mechanical tasks such as maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, ensuring operationality and reliability.
Key Accountabilities.
- To Provide specialized mechanical service in customer's place of business and ensure optimal work of customer plant. Maintaining the plant according to company policies, procedures, and operation profile/plan, maintaining, repairing or installing mechanical parts/products/solutions/equipment at customer plant.
- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. Ensuring that the working area, machines, auxiliary equipment and tools are kept in good and clean condition.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs, replacing defective parts where necessary.
- Collaborating with other technicians and staff to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work performed, parts used, and inventory levels. Creating work reports according to guidelines within the given time.
- Complying with all safety regulations and performing emergency procedures in order to protect Personnel, Equipment and the Environment in case of damage or failure of safety devices.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions on maintenance processes. Continuously updating personal knowledge of mechanical systems and practices to enhance on-the-job performance and safety.

Qualification: Diploma/Degree In Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
