Business Analyst
We are intensively looking for pro-active Business Analyst for GMDSS Simulator to join marine engineering simulator team. The candidate will work on market lead product GMDSS that actively in use for education in thousands maritime academies around the globe. The reason of hiring is active business and development team grow.
You will work in Scrum team on complex distributed system with tasks in many different domains from visual system to hardware integrations. The team believes in incremental delivery and work in close collaboration with customers.

As Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

Participate in the development of simulation-based maritime training products as part of the product R&D team.

Translate shipboard operations and safety procedures into realistic simulation scenarios.

Contribute to the product discovery process: validate training hypotheses, write user stories, and collaborate with maritime instructors and customers.

Provide expert input on GMDSS relevant regulatory training modules.

Manage and refine the product development backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner.

Support customer-facing teams by acting as a subject matter expert on simulation content and maritime operations.

Conduct technical reviews and validation of simulation behavior and training outcomes.

Lead or support training sessions using GMDSS simulators

Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of simulation assets and workflows.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in maritime operations, simulation, or training.

Professional experience at sea, preferably in engine officer role.

Instructor experience with maritime simulators and training systems.

Strong analytical skills and experience with product backlog management.

Understanding of Agile principles and Scrum methodology.

Technical aptitude to work with simulation software and hardware.

Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Team spirit, autonomy, and a service-oriented mindset.
