Software Developer Engineer Trainee

We are intensively looking for pro-active Software Development Engineering Trainee to join Simulator team. The candidate will work on market lead product GMDSS that actively in use for seafarers' education in thousands maritime academies around the globe. The reason of hiring is active business and development team grow.Company-wide communications are in English. We strive to use only English for written technical communication.

This is a 6 month paid internship, the location is Belgrade, Serbia

What you will be doing:
•    Participation in development for GMDSS
•    Development in C++ 11/14, C#
•    Code review
•    Development under Windows
•    Support legacy code
•    Mentor juniors and interns

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
•    Currently in the final year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field 
•    Solid working knowledge of C++ and C#
•    Good understanding of algorithms and data structures
•    Strong communication skills
•    Proficiency with source control systems, debuggers, profilers, and other common software development tools
•    Intermediate or higher level of English

Will be a plus:
•    Knowledge of COM/ATL
•    Experience in distributed system design.
