Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

We are now looking for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our West Africa Operational Organization based in Nouakchott Centrale Nord, Mauritania

 

Main responsibilities: 

  • Plan, lead and manage scheduled or unplanned E&A maintenance activities at the plant for W50DF engines & plant auxiliaries
  • Follow work orders in Maximo / SWF execute the jobs and report the service work orders with all the descriptions in Online Maximo / SWR.
  • Create weekly and monthly reports for the Electrical maintenance performed and up keeping of the records.
  • Trouble shooting and condition monitoring of the power plant equipment for enriched engine performance.
  • Ensure maintenance reliability and availability of the plant according to contract.
  • Planning and implementation of all Maintenance activities related to the power plant with precision.
  • Managing Spare parts inventory and spares consumption record and follow up with Parts Coordination Management team.
  • Ensuring Safe work practice for self & the team.
  • Contract process way of working.
  • Good knowledge of WECS & UNIC tuning to minimizing engine MTBF Problem solving by RCA method
  • Ensuring maximum availability, reliability, and PLF of DF engines
  • Responsible for all Electrical maintenance related activities of the power plant.
  • Responsible for the timely completion of major overhauls with zero reworks.
  • Responsible for all activities related to the operations and maintenance of  powerplant.
  • To implement plant operations/maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • To maintain MIS such as logs and records of normal operations of plant & safety documents.
  • To efficiently handle shutdowns, start-ups, and other operational disturbances.
  • To ensure uninterrupted quality power to the customer.
  • To ensure the financial performance of the contract.

Requirements:

  • HND or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.
  • 3 - 5 years of overall experience Wartsila power plant engines.
  • At least 2-year experience in supervisory role is mandatory
  • Experience in Wartsila 32 or 50DF engine will be preferred
  • Fluency in English language
  • Looking for Mauritanian local nationals only
