Location: Hera, Timor-Leste
About the Position
Wärtsilä is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor (HV) to join our team in Hera, Timor-Leste. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical maintenance activities at the substation and power plant, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of high-voltage equipment while meeting operational and contractual targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and report maintenance activities at the electrical substation and/or plant.
- Ensure plant performance targets are achieved in line with contractual obligations.
- Monitor maintenance equipment, materials, spare parts, and tools, taking corrective actions when required.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) standards, customer procedures, and maintenance plans.
- Review completed maintenance work to ensure repairs meet quality and safety requirements.
- Coach and mentor maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and resolving complex equipment issues.
- Develop and improve maintenance routines and workflows to enhance plant reliability and performance.
- Prioritize and allocate tasks effectively to ensure maintenance schedules and performance targets are achieved.
- Support additional duties within the scope of the role as required by operational needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, substations, power plants, or similar industries.
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, Logic Diagrams, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of protection relays, LV, MV, and HV systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Willing to work extended hours when required.
- Willing to be stationed at the Electrical Substation, Hera, Timor-Leste.
