Fuel Tender

Location: Betano
Minimum Education: Diploma (D3)

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, disciplined, and detail-oriented Fuel Tender to support daily fuel stock monitoring, ensure inventory accuracy, and assist with materials management. This role requires an honest and cooperative team player with strong analytical skills who is comfortable working at heights and around vessels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily fuel stock counts and reconcile inventory data to ensure accuracy.
  • Update and maintain fuel inventory records and databases based on Fuel Storage Tank levels.
  • Identify any discrepancies in stock levels and report them promptly for resolution.
  • Provide timely and accurate fuel stock information to support operational decision-making.
  • Assist in improving stock control processes to prevent discrepancies and enhance overall inventory management.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support warehouse and materials activities, including Lube Oil, Spare Parts, and Chemical inventory.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all inventory‑related tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma 3 (D3), preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Honest, disciplined, responsible, and cooperative.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Good communication skills; able to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia or English.
  • Not color‑blind.
  • Comfortable working at heights (daily tank sounding).
  • Not afraid of boarding or moving between vessels.
  • Willing to work midnight shifts when required (monthly fuel tank sounding).
  • Willing to stay and work in the Betano area.
