Plant Manager

Your main responsibilities are

  • Plan, lead and manage operation and maintenance activities at the plant and assigned team.
  • Ensure that the performance targets of the plant are reached according to the contract.
  • Ensure competent resources and competence development within assigned team.
  • Ensure that the condition of the plant and equipment are according to applicable guidelines and policies and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Ensure that the work is executed at plant according to Wärtsila Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
  • Implement Agreement Management action plans, processes and guidelines in the assigned responsibility area.
  • Prepare reports, plans and budgets as instructed by the Agreement Manager.
  • Identify and actively seek to improve operational and maintenance reliability and availability of the plant.
  • Develop the operation and maintenance working routines at the plant.
  • Maintain good internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Desired Education

• Diploma/BSc/MSc in Electrical or Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

 

Main Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in Power Plant Management to include Operations and Maintenance.

• 5 years of experience leading Operation or Maintenance team

 

Desired Skills and Experience

• Excellent leadership and collaboration skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English

• Good verbal communication skills in Indonesia or (Tetun will be a plus)

• Strong experience with Wartsila Engines & Power plant Auxiliary systems

• Experience with Wartsila power plant Operation & Maintenance (will be a plus)

• Experience in Agreement Management

• Technical reporting skills

• Strong focus on safety protocols and QEHS standards

• Good computer skills
