Shift Supervisor

What are your main tasks and responsibilities?

  • He will be managing the whole Power Plant in his shift ensuring a safe and efficient operations while delivering the required power by the Customer.
  • Manages the equipment, his people, the environment and ensures harmonious relation with the customer.
  • Knows how to restore Power Plant in case of total Plant shutdown.
  • He should be familiar and knowledgeable in all the systems in the Power Plant including its principles.
  • Knows how to prepare and evaluate reports and do necessary plan and actions to correct the problem.
  • Ensures engine and aux pms are being done as planned and provides the necessary spare parts to accomplish the task.
  • Knows how to evaluate engine parameters, alarms and trending and do necessary plan and action to correct the abnormalities.
  • Leads his respective team in driving organization's objective and his team's growth and development.
  • Coordinates with Maintenance Team all cms and pms activities and provide proper planning.
  • Prepares all necessary reports like daily reports, monthly reports, incident reports and other needed reports required by the Customer, WPH, and Technical Center.
  • Conducts and complies to all monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and yearly HSE inspection.

 

What do we expect from you?

  1. Education:
  • Licensed Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer or equivalent

 

  1. Experience:
  • At least 5 years working experience in Diesel Power Plant preferably with supervisory experience

 

  1. General Skills :
  • With good communication skills
  • Computer literate with MS Office
  • Team worker
  • Effective in managing cost

 

  1. Professional Skills;
  • Knowledgeable in Diesel Power Plant Systems including auxiliaries
  • Knowledgeable in HSE protocols
  • Knowledgeable in controls and automation
  • Knows how to evaluate drawings and flow charts
  • Knowledgeable in Electrical System is an advantage
