We are now looking for a Chief Project Engineer, Electrical & Automation to join our Team.

Location for this position is in France, nearest colleagues are located Mulhouse and Paris, other team members around the world. 

Partial remote working is also possible,  as we do have a hybrid working model in use at Wärtsilä. You would be joining a team, which is global, with some colleagues in the USA, as well as in Europe, Asia and all around the world.

In this position, your work will include planning the works with the total costs, as well as scheduling, quality and customer needs in focus.

As Chief Project Engineer, Electrical & Automation, your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

• Safeguard that Electrical & Automation works are executed according to contract specifications and design directives as a member of a project team
• Make purchase specifications and bill of quantities as required for the project execution
• Make project specific design and design packages
• Co-ordinate the design between sub-suppliers
• Develop Power Plant project wise Electrical & Automation solution for the client
• Carry out sub-supplier quality- and delivery follow-ups
• Support our site team during installation and commission phases
• Give feedback regarding technical solutions and complaints

You will shine in this role, when you have:

• BSc. or MSc. in Electrical & Automation
• English and French language skill is a must
• Being self-going, having team working skills, motivation to learn and grow professionally and willingness to travel as well as ability to understand and work with diverse cultures
• Minimum 5 years of experience of Electrical & Automation project engineering
• Work experience in some of following areas seams as a benefit:
  • Knowledge of Medium voltage system, Low voltages systems, DC systems, Protection relays
  • Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA and HMI
  • Knowledge of power generation and power grids is seen as an advantage

Ingénieur de projet en chef, électricité et automatisation (H/F)
 

pour rejoindre notre équipe.

Le poste est basé en France, les collègues les plus proches sont situés à Mulhouse et à Paris, les autres membres de l'équipe sont répartis dans le monde entier.
 

Un travail à distance partiel est également possible, car nous avons un modèle de travail hybride utilisé chez Wärtsilä. Vous rejoindrez une équipe internationale, avec des collègues aux Etats-Unis, en Europe, en Asie et dans le monde entier.
Dans ce poste, votre travail consistera à planifier les travaux en tenant compte des coûts totaux, du calendrier, de la qualité et des besoins des clients.
 

En tant qu'Ingénieur de projet en chef, électricité et automatisation votre travail se concentrera sur ces responsabilités :

• Veiller à ce que les travaux d'électricité et d'automatisation soient exécutés conformément aux spécifications du contrat et aux directives de conception en tant que membre d'une équipe de projet.
• Réaliser les spécifications d'achat et les nomenclatures nécessaires à l'exécution du projet.
• Réaliser des conceptions et des ensembles de conception spécifiques au projet
• Coordonner la conception entre les sous-fournisseurs.
• Développer une solution électrique et d'automatisation adaptée au projet de centrale électrique pour le client.
• Effectuer le suivi de la qualité et de la livraison des sous-traitants.
• Soutenir notre équipe sur site pendant les phases d'installation et de mise en service
• Donner un feedback concernant les solutions techniques et les plaintes

Exigences :

• BSc. ou MSc. en électricité et automatisation.
• La maîtrise de l'anglais et du français est indispensable
• Autonomie, aptitude au travail en équipe, motivation à apprendre et à évoluer professionnellement, volonté de voyager et capacité à comprendre et à travailler avec des cultures diverses.
• Minimum 5 ans d'expérience en ingénierie de projets électriques et d'automatisation.
• L'expérience professionnelle dans certains des domaines suivants est un avantage :
• Connaissance des systèmes de moyenne tension, des systèmes de basse tension, des systèmes de courant continu, des relais de protection.
• Connaissance des PLC, SCADA et HMI.
• La connaissance de la production d'électricité et des réseaux électriques est considérée comme un avantage.

Compétences requises :

• Aptitudes à la négociation et à la communication
• Capacité à travailler en équipe
• Compétences techniques en ingénierie électrique et en automatisation
