People Analytics Lead

About the Position 


As People Analytics Lead you will play a significant role in the design of distinctive solutions for our ~19,000 people. Working within the Impact & Insights domain, you will be empowered to be creative and innovative in providing analytics solutions to solve business problems and anticipate future needs. Your mission is to drive a revolution, using sophisticated methods of leveraging employee data from a continually growing number of sources. 


In this role, you will focus on: 

  • Be a strategic advisor to senior leaders tackling strategic high value workforce-related projects 
  • Conduct deep analysis and surface valuable insights and recommendations that influence HR strategy and people priorities 
  • Work with large, complex data sets. Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems (applying advanced analytical methods as needed) to surface valuable insights and recommendations that influence HR strategy and people priorities 
  • Proactively deliver solutions and outcomes that are used to implement valuable business decisions, including performing regression analysis to understand meaningful correlations in order to begin development of predictive analytics  
  • Build and deploy statistical, machine learning, and optimization models around people and work 
  • Advise senior HR and business leaders to identify business issues, translate them into analytics projects, and manage those projects to a successful delivery of insights and decisions. 
  • Participate in strategic workforce planning processes for businesses/ functions including advising on workforce segmentation, gap and risk analysis, external market analysis, etc. 
  • Conduct deep, thorough analysis ranging from deep-dive descriptive statistics to building statistical models to predict outcomes or identify key drivers of business outcomes. 
  • Partner with the HR technology experts, IM/ IT, and various other stakeholders to ensure that systems are capturing the data that is necessary to facilitate proper analytics. 
  • Identify data needs and gaps, new technology, and innovative methods to ensure that we are using the best available tools for the job. 
  • Partner with the HR Business Intelligence Lead and colleagues in PSC to transform quality analysis into quality reporting and to implement new datasets and technology for the team. 
  • Be a strong advocate and defender of Data Privacy and partner with stakeholders in HR, compliance, data privacy, legal, etc. to ensure that we are compliant, respectful, and transparent. 


Your people leadership responsibilities will be: 

  • Work effectively across reporting lines within the Communities of Expertise, across HR and the business, in project mode covering agile and traditional waterfall. 


About You 


To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with: 

  • Ability to understand business strategies and translate these into actionable and compelling impact and insights development initiatives 
  • Deep interest in analysing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making 
  • Proficiency and/ or formal qualification in data analysis, statistical analysis and/or modelling, financial analysis 
  • Experience in data-focused role such as business analytics, business intelligence, statistics, or data science 
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as SQL, R, Tableau, Power BI 
  • Experience in business case development of technology implementations 
  • Innovative thinking applied to identify opportunities to deliver business impact 
  • Agile working and good prioritisation skills. 
  • Outstanding ability to analyse data and discern business insights  
  • Comfortable and proficient in collaborating and engaging with various technical teams and vendor partners 
  • Effective project management skills, driving closure on key milestones and overseeing timely delivery 
  • Adaptive with proven abilities to effectively partner and engage with cross functional team and process experts 
  • Passion for technology integration, and quickly gaining exposure to new platforms, and bringing attention to detail and fresh perspective to improve usability and effectiveness 
  • High degree of integrity and trust 
  • Demonstrates curiosity and capacity for learning
