About the Role :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team working on Ports software development. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for one or two development teams, ensuring alignment with product strategy and maximizing business value. You will collaborate closely with the Product Lead and other Product Owners, participate in the Product Discovery process, and be the main point of contact for requirement clarifications and team scope and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Product Owner for one or two development teams working on Ports software.
- Own and manage the team backlog, ensuring alignment with product strategy and maximizing business value.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Lead and other Product Owners.
- Participate in the Product Discovery process as part of the discovery team.
- Be the main point of contact for the development team regarding requirement clarifications and the rest of the organization regarding the team's scope and goals.
- Write, verify, and present clear, well-structured user stories to ensure efficient development.
- Engage with customers, conduct user research, and contribute to customer support initiatives.
- Work in an Agile environment, ensuring smooth collaboration between multiple teams working on the same product.
What We Are Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
- Strong ability to write and communicate user stories in a clear and structured way.
- Readiness to engage directly with customers and understand their needs.
- Strong business communication skills in English.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Understanding of Product Discovery principles and an Agile mindset.
Nice to have:
Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
Experience working in a port or shipping environment.

The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education, individual skill set, level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered and consideration of internal equity.
