QEHS Manager

As a QESH Manager you will become part of the QEHS team of our, Service Unit Central Europe, which is part of our Marine Business Division. The Service Unit is covering 15 countries, 4 large and several smaller locations where we service mainly marine customers operating close to 7500 marine power installations.

Your main responsibility as a QESH Manager is to manage and coordinate the QESH activities within Service Unit Central Europe and Poland to ensure the delivery of high quality products and services and maximise customer satisfaction. At the same time we expect you to touch ground dealing with QESH needs in the Polish organisation.

What are your main tasks and responsibilities?

  • You drive and ensure customer satisfaction improvements by leading action planning and execution for recognised improvement areas
  • You take the responsibility for leading business changes and operational and operational excellence activities
  • Ensure the alignment and implementation of Wärtsilä quality processes, systems, tools and programs within own responsibility area
  • Identify and reduce Non-Conformities and secure ownership and awareness
  • Ensure that key processes are documented and followed in the organisation and between the SUCEN teams across locations
  • Act as an internal auditor to monitor the quality level of the processes and solutions, and ensure corrective actions are taken and followed

  • Qualified lead auditor for at least one of the following standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018)
  • You know how to achieve results within a customer focused organisation
  • Due to the international character of this position you have to be fluent in the English Language

In this position you will work in close cooperation with the local country organisations, Wärtsilä workshops, Field Service Operations and our customers. You report directly to our Service Unit QEHS Manager, Central Europe. The location for this position is our Gdansk office in Poland.
