Parts Identification Engineer

We have now a unique and exciting opportunity for a new Parts Identification Engineer to join our busy Parts Identification team in the Water and Waste Aftersales business, based in the UK, Poole, Dorset.

 

 

As the Parts Identification Engineer, you will provide technical identification of spare parts to Water & Waste direct customers, agents and parts coordinators.

What will you be doing?

 

 

• Advise our customers on spare part inquiries and thereby support parts sales (i.e.cross - selling)

• Process quotations based on spare parts related customer inquiries

• Monitor open requests and pro-actively inform about progress and estimations of completion

• Advise global as well local/internal stakeholders on technical investigations regarding spare parts

• Provide input to Product Lifecycle Data team in order to improve the overall coverage

• Review and implementation of technical documentation where needed (Bulletins, Design Messages, etc)

• Support root cause analyses and implementation of corrective and preventive actions related to customer claims

 

Development Responsibilities:

 

• Support optimization of related processes and way of workings

• Develop processes to obtain, store and utilize data which might support for increasing the coverage of the code resolution

• Support in knowledge increase of waste water product competences at the front end
